1. Operator and contact

Notatky is operated by IKONBAI, Inc., a Delaware corporation, at 1841 N Fuller Ave #309, Los Angeles, CA 90046, United States. Contact [email protected] for support, privacy or accessibility requests, or complaints.

2. Eligibility

The consumer beta is for people 14 years old or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 14 and that the information you provide is accurate. Do not create an account if you are under 14. If we learn that an ineligible person created an account, we may restrict it while we address the data appropriately.

Parent Connect is optional. A parent or guardian does not automatically receive a student's notes, files, or conversations. A future sharing feature must explain exactly what it shares and require the appropriate choice. These terms do not remove rights that students or parents have under applicable law.

3. Learning service and AI

Notatky helps users organize study material, create and edit notes, practice with flashcards and, when the feature is available, extract text from supported files. AI features are designed to explain learning material and support practice instead of completing schoolwork for the student.

Generated notes, transcription, extraction, similarity signals and AI explanations may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information against the original material and follow your teacher's rules for AI and collaboration. Notatky is not a school, teacher, grading authority, emergency service, therapist, or source of medical, legal or financial advice.

4. Your content

You retain the rights you have in files, recordings, notes, additions and feedback you submit. You give IKONBAI, Inc. limited, nonexclusive permission to store, copy, extract, transcribe, transform and transmit that content only as needed to provide the feature you request, secure and operate Notatky, and comply with law. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Notice.

These terms do not give Notatky permission to sell or publish your content, use it for behavioral advertising, or train a general-purpose AI model. Upload only content you have permission to use. Before recording a teacher, class or another person, obtain every permission required by the participants, school rules and applicable law. Your checkbox is a statement, not proof that another person consented.

5. Safe and fair use

Use Notatky for learning. Do not use it to impersonate or harass someone, bypass security, spread malware, steal credentials, infringe rights, obtain prohibited exam answers, or seek instructions that meaningfully enable violence, self-harm, sexual exploitation, dangerous drug use, scams or other serious harm. Age-appropriate educational questions about health, safety, history, literature and prevention remain allowed.

We may block a request, limit a feature or suspend an account when reasonably needed to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or handle a security incident. A safety flag may be wrong and is not proof of misconduct. The current beta does not promise continuous human monitoring or automatic parent or emergency alerts. If someone may be in immediate danger in the United States, call 911 or call or text 988. Do not use Notatky as an emergency channel.

6. Privacy

The Notatky Privacy Notice explains what is collected, why it is used, service providers, retention, user choices and deletion routes. Accepting these terms is separate from acknowledging that notice and does not authorize undisclosed uses.

7. Current beta and future subscriptions

The current closed beta is free. It requires no payment card and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Features may change, pause or stop. Export important work and retain original study files.

Paid Starter and Plus plans are prepared but are not active under these Beta Terms. Before a paid plan is offered, an adult purchaser must receive the exact price, limits, trial or preview behavior, renewal terms, taxes, refund terms and an operating cancellation route. The purchaser must make a separate express choice and receive a durable receipt. The prepared business terms are described in the Subscription Terms; they become effective only when the live checkout displays the same version and the adult purchaser accepts it.

8. Leaving, export and deletion

You may stop using Notatky at any time. Account-page controls explain which data they export or delete. Deleting one file or a cloud library does not delete the account, feedback, downloaded copies or every provider backup. Contact [email protected] to request account closure, access, correction, export or deletion. We may verify the requester and retain limited records as described in the Privacy Notice or required by law.

9. Responsibility and disputes

Use the beta with care and verify important output. To the extent permitted by law, IKONBAI, Inc. is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by relying on beta output or failing to keep an export. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

California law governs these terms to the extent allowed by mandatory law where you live. These terms do not require arbitration, waive class participation, impose a broad user indemnity, or waive a minor's statutory rights. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern; you may still contact regulators or courts.

10. Changes

A material change to eligibility, data use, payment or user rights requires a new version and renewed acceptance before it applies. A change does not retroactively authorize a new use of previously collected data.
